Join professional photographer and lecturer, Andy Davies, at the picturesque National Wetland Centre near Llanelli for a memorable day learning the essentials of creative digital photography. This Wildfowl and Wetland Trust's reserve comprises 450 acres of lakes, scrapes, pools, streams and lagoons that adjoin the salt marsh and shore of the Burry Inlet.
Andy will provide hands-on expert tuition to small groups covering a number of techniques and subjects. The lagoons nearest to the estuary are where birds gather in the greatest abundance, including black-tailed and bar-tailed godwits, curlew, pintail, shelduck, shoveler, snipe and teal. There is also a large collection of resident birds from all over the world guaranteeing excellent photographic subjects all year round.
This workshop caters for all skill levels, from complete beginners to aspiring professionals. Hands-on expert tuition is provided to small groups who are initially taken back to the fundamentals of photography, rapidly progressing to having full creative control of either digital compact cameras or digital single lens reflex cameras (DSLRs) with interchangeable lenses. |
