We had an early start meeting at Martins Haven, the boat left for Skomer at 8:30. I was welcomed to Skomer with a seal plopping into the sea. Once on Skomer we helped unload the boat, forming a chain going up the steps - unloading the boat of equipment and mail from the mainland.
We had an introductory talk from Andy about aperture, shutter speeds, ISO etc. We then headed off to "The Wick" to see the puffins. It was amazing to get so close to the puffins.

Andy was on hand to help, he was very generous with his advice and I learnt alot about using the different settings on my camera. I managed to get some excellent in flight shots of the puffins !!
We had lunch and continued to explore the whole island, spending all day on the island, it was a fabulous day and I thoroughly enjoyed. I highly recommend this photography day out with Andy.
