A really interesting and informative day. The day started off with a chat about how we got in to photography and where we want to go with it. Andy then went on to explain the technical side of photography and how to get the best out of your camera with a better understanding of it.

After learning some of the guidelines and techniques used to create a quality photograph we made our way around the park to some of the different animal enclosures. I learned an incredible amount about what goes in to taking a good photograph, including many aspects that I had not considered would impact my photography as much as they do.

We were very lucky with the weather and had an excellent day of photo taking, making for some excellent shots with a range of different subjects. There were opportunities to take lovely scenery shots and also close up an personal shots with some of the animals.

I took some of my best ever photographs with the help of Andy not just telling me how to make it better but instead asking my opinion on a photo I had taken and how did I think I could improve it. All in all a fantastic day that I will remember and use throughout my photography in the future.
