Coming from the USA, my #1 wish was to photograph Puffins. We found Andy on the internet and decided it would be wise to pay for a shoot and go with a pro. I was not disappointed. I got a boat load of images on my trip to Skomer Island.

The weather is always going to be a question, but you just need to be prepared to protect the equipment and yourself (we actually stayed over an extra night and shot a 2nd day on our own). Leading up to my trip I emailed Andy several times with both relevant and idiotic questions (which he answered quickly and patiently). He is an experienced photographer and talented. The Puffins are extremely cooperative and cute. You will not be disappointed (if the weather cooperates).

If you are an experienced photographer be aware the group contains some inexperienced photographers and part of his talks will cover basics of photography, as well as great tips and insight. Be patient, he covers all levels. If you are a beginner, then have confidence - Andy will help you immensely!

Our day spent with Andy was relaxed, fun and enjoyable. Go to Skomer and have a blast!
