This was our first visit to Pembrokeshire and we couldn't have chosen a
better week in May. The photography workshop was a birthday present for
Ted who has always been a keen photographer but is still getting to
grips with the digital world. Ted and Keith, the other member of the
workshop, both had SLR cameras with all the bells and whistles. My
camera is an excellent Panasonic compact which I have to say I use
mainly on the intelligent auto setting. Andy soon had me using a
variety of different settings and giving sound advice as to composition.

Skomer Island was awash with magnificent bluebells, quite unusual to see
them in the open. The puffins were close and co-operative and Andy knew
the best locations. The review of pictures held in the warden's centre
at lunch was useful and in the afternoon we were all able to put new
knowledge into practice.
We would thoroughly recommend Andy as someone who provides good value
for money and has an excellent knowledge of photography and wildlife."
